What does the safety seal look like?
We are currently in the process of transitioning to our new cap and seal combo so some orders will contain both styles!
Both cap styles are fully FDA compliant, safety is something we take very seriously!
Our original cap is a "breakable cap." What this means is the bottle is sealed by a plastic cap and seal that breaks away completely when removed from the container.
Our new caps and seals feature a secure seal over the mouth of the bottle that needs to be removed before using, the cap looks slightly different as well!
The best way to determine if your cap was indeed sealed correctly is to determine which seal you received. The old cap has a tamper evident neck crack while the new cap does not have one but instead utilized a foil seal under the cap.
For extra sense of security both cap styles have the pop tab on the cap. If you received an old style cap and your neck ring and pop tab are intact or you received a new cap and your pop tab and foil seal inside are intact you can be assured your bottle is safe to consume!
The new cap and seal can be seen on the left and the old style on the right!
