Ingredients

For the sauteed dates

  • 1/3 cup pitted Medjool dates (about 6–7 dates)
  • 1 tbsp butter or coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1/4 cup water

For the Latte

  • 2 tsp Javvy Coffee Concentrate
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice
  • 1 cup ice
  • Optional topping: cold foam, cinnamon dust, or a drizzle of date syrup

Directions

  1. In a small pan over medium heat, melt butter
  2. Add pitted dates, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Sauté for 3–5 minutes until soft and caramelized.
  4. Add water and mash into a thick paste. Let cool slightly.
  5. Then mix date paste with a splash of warm milk to loosen it.
  6. Fill a glass with ice, add milk, and stir in the date paste.
  7. Pour Javvy Coffee Concentrate over top and stir.
  8. Top with foam or a light sprinkle of cinnamon. For extra indulgence, drizzle with more date paste or syrup.
